I met Brittney when she was just 17. We both worked the front of the House at Red Lobster. It was a place where so many friendships and memories began. In fact, not only do Brittney & I share this kinship, but the wedding officiant (and our good friend), Jenn, several members of the wedding party and many of the guests all have ties to RL640. Its a place where we basically grew up, together.
During her time there, Brittney met Jeremy. At the pink house. The one that people will never forget. Its where Jeremy and one of his groomsmen, Rolli, lived together. Brittney was just 19, and Jeremy was 21. Little did she know that something sparked in Jeremy’s heart that night. She was oblivious. Clueless. Until her friend, Stef, told her.
8 years later, all of those friends and family gathered together at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse; A charming, woodsy, oasis where Brittney and Jeremy finally said “I do”. And right as they did, the clouds that threatened & promised & gave us rain throughout the day, simply parted. And the sun beamed for the rest of what was a spectacular evening. If that isn’t a sign that they were in the right place, I don’t know what is.
It was perfect.
The crowd cheered as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. Jeremy raised his hand in the air in victory. They smiled & laughed. Their forever, just beginning.
The night was full of food & drink, 5 very hilarious & emotional speeches, meaningful glances and first dances.
And the Macarena.
The party had just began. And I hope it never stops for Brittney and Jeremy.
